This week I am quite stressed about the midterm project. I kept asking myself the point of building a certain object/experience and the message it is trying to deliver. We started with the idea of facial expression reactions, but I could not stop thinking whether this would be too superficial, or whether this is making the users’ experience comparatively passive and too occupied by the machine. Yet, after talking to Tom, I realized that for this stage, what I need to first consider is the responsive part instead of the “useful” part, and simplification could be really helpful!
