//reflections

This is what I both like and feel uncertain about our project: to me, the relation between human and machine is reversed in this project. While it should machines doing service to the human, now it is us constantly trying to entertain it with our labor devoted. In other words, the more movements and dedications we put and act in front of the screen, the more “pleased” the machine we invented become while most of the time in other man-made machines’ scenario, it is the opposite. Is this beneficial or detremental? And if it is beneficial, where is it leading us to? This is also true when we are inventing the machine. This does not mean I do not like the project or final outcome, but I often thought in our process, most of the time, we were more focused on how to make it responsive while sometimes neglecting the deeper concepts that it should cover.  It provided a sense that we were occupied and manipulated by the mechanics of machines.
